Government will close four universities in Romania

The government closed four universities and monitors other 135 programs of study. In a short time ago the Minister for Higher Education, Mihnea Costoiu announced it has initiated the largest cleaning operation in the education system. Closed universities are: University of Finance and Banking in Bucharest, Roman Catholic Theological Institute in Bucharest Mihai Eminescu University in Timisoara and University "Kogalniceanu" in Iaşi. 

"We're talking about the greatest cleanliness in the last 25 years. All these things are made with the goal of having a quality education. I call on young people to look on the website of the Ministry of Education and choose those universities that are accredited "said Costoiu.

He said that three universities in the country are closely monitored. These universities are are Bioterra University, Romanian University of Science and Arts Gheorghe Cristea and Apollonia University of Iasi.
