President Traian Basescu won't be questioned by prosecutors

The Head of State, Traian Basescu won't be questioned in the case in which his brother, Mircea Băsescu, was arrested for allegedly taking hundreds of thousands of dollars for the release from prison of the gangster Sandu Anghel said Bercea Mondial who wasconvicted for having tried to kill his nephew. Anti-corruption prosecutors rejected the request of Paul Abraham, Anghel family lawyer which wanted President Basescu to be questioned in the scandal who broke over two weeks ago.
