Romanian 2nd Football League could disappear this year

Crisis in 2nd Football League of Romania. Only 8 teams from 28 have enrolled to start the new season. Because of the situation, the Executive Committee decided to extend the deadline for applications until July 20.

"We extended the deadline for registration of teams in League II and League III, from July 15 until July 20 because have enrolled only eight teams in League II. Out of 28 teams 14 in each series, four days before they enrolled only eight. and in League III's is a disaster, "said federal sources.
