When spinach is poisonous




















Amazing benefits of spinach are known from ancient times, but one thing that many do not know is that this plant nutrient can become toxic at high temperatures. It is recommended to be consumed fresh and not reheated. 

Popeye's favorite food, spinach contains a lot of vitamins and minerals like folic acid, vitamins A, B, C, E, iron, magnesium and potassium. It also has a high content of lutein and zeaxanthin and is an excellent combatant against many diseases.

However, spinach can be poisonous. High temperature, nitrates in spinach is converted to nitrite, the human body carcinogens. Thus, the spinach should never be reheated.

It is recommended to be eaten always fresh and if you still eat eating spinach in the day, not reheated it as good and cold.
