Rain and hail on a beach in Russia

A huge hail showers surprised people on the beach on the River Ob in Novosibirsk. Images were captured by an eyewitness. 

Swimmers on the river Ob in Novosibirsk, Siberia, had no warning: sunny day with temperatures of 37 degrees, quickly turned into a nightmare. The wind began pounding and huge hail - the size of a golf ball - his bomb.

People had little time to shelter and too few resources. "My husband has protected our daughter, but he was constantly hit by hail which caused bruises on the body," said a woman. Images captured by an eyewitness are dramatic. "If I die, know that I love you," says a woman, during the plague.
