Queuing, it is a job in the most bureaucratic country in Europe

Italians spend on average 400 hours per year at various tails: from paying bills, taxes, post office. Time lost would bring 40 billion in addition to GDP, according to estimates of consumer rights protection organizations. Excessive bureaucracy combined with unemployment caused by the economic crisis gave rise to a new professions: queuing. For 10 euros per hour gross, former unemployed are now queuing serving fellow citizens who have nothing better to do.

Two years ago, Giovanni Cafaro, newly unemployed, it was decided to queue for others. A leaflets and quickly found dozens of eager, mainly firms and companies who want to do something more productive employees during working hours. Thus was born officially profession "codista" - person standing in line.
The delegation queued has long been common practice for businessmen from Italy, but only now has become a legitimate profession and can be performed under labor contracts, wages, social security and minimum wage taxed economy.
Those in the queue are paid gross minimum wage of 10 euros per hour and have access to the public system of insurance against accidents at work. On the net there are courses of a few hours, taught usually on Skype, where enthusiasts queuing can learn what to expect and how to streamline expectation counters of various state bodies walkers documents, signatures, fees and stamp duties .

No Italian government has failed so far to carry out a thorough reform of the public administration, in order to relieve citizens of the infamous queues and "ghişeism". Add extreme bureaucracy huge tax burden, the heaviest in Europe, which determines its businesses and citizens to work as much in cash. Italy has one of the lowest rates in the world of non-cash transactions and also one of the most developed economy.
Ironically, to formally state the queue as a profession has created a new layer of bureaucracy in Italy. Those who want to hire a codista have to pay social security, ie to queue at counters, to submit the required documents and pay contributions putty that they need someone to stand in line one day or even two hours.
